All of Dr. Claw’s M.A.D. agents have finally been captured by Inspector Gadget. In his desperation he turns to the Great Great Godfather an infamous mob boss. Now gadget is marked for death and it’s up to Chief Quimby, Penny and Brain to save him.

How can you know it’s not only an impersonation? The credits say nothing about Marlon Brando, and if they really got him to do the voice, I’m certain they would have mentioned it prominently.

By the time season 2 went into production, however, DiC was no longer cooperating with Nelvana on the show… so they produced all the season 2 episodes themselves back in Los Angeles. So, you know… it sounds weird… but maybe Canada has decided not to pick up season 2 eps because those eps were produced in the US rather than in Canada. Either way, it’s kinda interesting to observe;)

Yeah, I’ve heard about this before and wondered myself if quality really has something to do with it, or if this is just coincidental.But one detail that does come to mind is that season 1 was primarily produced (supervised by DiC, of course) by the prolific Canadian cartoon studio Nelvana. While the animation was outsourced, Nelvana was the studio which handled voicing, storyboarding and not least the script writing.

You know what i find strange? Every channel in Canada thats ever aired the show has only shown the Season one episodes… I wonder why the season 2 ones are never picked up… I mean obviously the story lines werent as good, but thats the way it goes with alot of shows and they still air them.
