How to raise netbook sound without any gadgets?

I have an ASUS 1005HA netbook and the speakers are too quiet.
I dont want to purchase any usb gadgets for this.
Is there any other way to raise the sound?
Right click the volume icon at the bottom right and open volume control. If you’ve not already done so turn each slider up. If this doesn’t work then I’d recommend buying some speakers.

Only by turning up the main system volume, and the volume on apps and web applets.. If you have Windows XP, then maybe with the WAV slider on the volume app.
Otherwise you need to use external amplified speakers.
