Just got a new computer and the windows seven gadgets were working for a month but now they are not appearing. When I add a gadget to my desktop it will usually have a red x or a i or the icon will not even show up. Please help because i cannot live without these gadgets.
You should try restoring your system to an earlier point in time, before the gadgets disappeared.
Go to the Start Menu, then in the search bar type "System Restore" and click it in the results.
Follow the steps and select a restore date that predates when your problem started.
