How to raise netbook sound without any gadgets?
I have an ASUS 1005HA netbook and the speakers are too quiet.
I dont want to purchase any usb gadgets for this.
Is there any other way to raise the sound?
Right click the volume icon at the bottom right and open volume control. If you’ve not already done so turn each slider up. If this doesn’t work then I’d recommend buying some speakers.
iPhone 4 Battery Life Part 2 – 3D games, minimum settings
So, is the iPhone 4′s battery life really longer? How much longer? Let’s find out by of course playing hours and hours of games on it!
Follow me on Twitter: @fury – http://twitter.com/fury
For this test, I turned everything off or down to the minimum and it lasted 6 hours and 36 minutes. (!)
Minimum brightness
No sound
No vibration
Airplane mode (no cell, wifi, Bluetooth or gps)
As always, I conduct extremely meticulous, scientific tests to ensure that my results are always consistent and comparable….yeah, right. But this is a rough idea of what you can expect out of a typical charge cycle with these settings and this gameplay.
The games played:
0:00 Cro-Mag Rally
1:00 Waveblazer
2:00 Heavy Gunner +
2:35 Super Monkey Ball 2
4:00 Command & Conquer: Red Alert
Music for the video: Musicshake artist pooj. Song titled: PHOENIX

So, if you find yourself up late at night in a place where you don’t want to disturb anybody with sound, and don’t feel like using it as a phone or Internet device, you can get at least a good 6 hours of game time out of it.
Yes, I have spent entirely too much time playing around with this stuff.

In this special gadgetS issue, we show you how to make a menagerie of delightful machines: a miniature electronic Whac-a-Mole arcade game, a tiny but mighty see-through audio amplifier, a magic mirror that contains an interactive animated soothsayer, a self-balancing one-wheeled Gyrocar, and the Most Useless Machine â the creepy mechanical box whose only purpose is to turn itself off (as seen on The Colbert Report!). Plus: how Intellectual Ventures made their incredible laser targeting mosquito zapper, how to use the industrial-strength microcontrollers called PLCs, and a lot more.
